Donations

The Foundation receives contributions from individuals and family foundations, corporate grants and employee matching gift programs, and non-profit and other organizations. A distribution of the donations received from these categories of donors over the past three financial (July 1 to June 30) years is presented below.

An endowment to FFE provides funds to cover all program services, fund raising and management and administration expenses. A large base of volunteers in the US and India give generously of their time, skills and energy to support the Foundation programs and activities on a steady basis. Therefore, 100% of a donor's contribution is applied towards scholarships provided to applicants.
