• Scholarships are available to students in India for studies in India
• Scholarships are awarded solely on the basis of academic eligibility, family background and fiancial need
• No consideration is given to the applicant's caste, religion or other personal circumstances
• Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis and are directly paid to the student
• New, first time applicants must apply when they are in the first year of any course of study
• Renewal of scholarship depends on continued academic excellence and financial need
